Armed Robbery at Needs Convenience - Man Arrested

Charlottetown Police Services responded to a report of robbery at Needs Convenience on University Ave., Sunday morning at 6:45am. Police were advised that a male entered store and demanded money from clerk at knife point. Accused male obtained a quantity of cash and fled area on foot. Suspect is described as 25-35 years old, dirty blonde hair, wearing dark jeans, and a green John Deere hat. Charlottetown Police Services Major Crime Unit have arrested and charged a 37 year old Ontario native in relation to this robbery. Accused male is currently in custody and will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
