Operation Impact - 111 Individuals Charged

Last weekend Charlottetown Police Services took part in Operation Impact, an annual collaborative effort by Canadian police services aimed at aggressively enforcing the laws that govern high risk activities of road users and making Canada’s roads the safest in the world. As a result of this initiative Charlottetown Police Services, with the co-operation of PEI Highway Safety personnel, charged 111 individuals with various infractions of the Highway Traffic Act. Police also removed three vehicles from the road for unsafe loads and arrested one individual for impaired driving.
