Man Charged With Assault

Charlottetown Police Services received a complaint at 12:30am Sunday morning, from a 29 year old female, that she had been assaulted. Police located and arrested a 35 year old Charlottetown area male. Accused man was jailed at the Provincial Correctional Centre and will be appearing in Provincial Court at a later date. Victim required no medical treatment as a result of assault, and accused is known to victim.
