Impaired Driving - Male Charged

Charlottetown Police Services were conducting routine patrols early Saturday morning at 1:59am on Kent St., and observed a vehicle exiting the parking lot of a local bar. Vehicle proceeded driving in an erratic manner, without tail lights, and was stopped minutes later. Police determined driver of vehicle, a 20 year old Charlottetown area male, was consuming alcohol and he was was arrested for impaired driving. Accused man was jailed at the Provincial Correctional Centre and will be appearing in Provincial Court at a later date.
