Man Charged With Assault

Charlottetown Police Services received a complaint yesterday at 4:19pm regarding an assault at a residence on Douglas St. Police were informed by victim, a 29 year old Charlottetown area female, that she was assaulted. Police later apprehended, and charged, a 41 year old Charlottetown area male with assault. Accused male was jailed at the Provincial Correction Centre. Victim incurred minor injuries as a result of assault.
