Man Convicted For Drug Trafficking - Nelson Darby

Nelson Darby of Longueuil, Quebec has been convicted of drug trafficking in the Supreme Court of Prince Edward Island. Darby was charged on February 7th, 2012 at a local motel in the Charlottetown area. Police arrested Darby after an extensive investigation into his role in supplying drugs to the Charlottetown area. Charlottetown Police Street Crime Unit seized four and a half pounds of marijuana, one hundred and fifty 24mg hydromorphone pills, twenty 30mg hydromorphone pills, and $5,575 cash from the motel room occupied by Darby. Nelson Darby received a sentence of three years in a Federal Penitentiary as a result of his conviction.
