Public Announcements

August 29, 2017

In an effort to improve the overall safety of the community and to enhance residents ability to enjoy their neighborhoods, we would encourage all residents to make a conscious effort to reduce the negative impact of vehicular traffic on residential streets and promote safe and pleasant conditions for non motorized users (pedestrians, children and cyclists) by:

Obeying posted speed signs;

Obeying traffic control signs;

Being courteous and respecting bicyclists, pedestrian, and children;

Non texting or using cell phones while driving;

Exercise caution in school zones.

Traffic safety and neighborhood safety are shared responsibilities. Whether driving, walking or biking, we can all play a part in keeping our neighborhood and community safe and healthy by doing our part and building awareness.
